A scarce title. $250. * Only edition, one of 2 issues, both in 1816. Considered a model lawyer-statesman by Story, Dexter [1761-1816] served in the Massachusetts legislature and both house of the U.S. Congress. He also served briefly as secretary of war and secretary of the treasury under John Adams.
