The first examines criminal practice and procedure in civil and Canon law. The second is a compilation of commentaries on Guttierez' legal writings issued between 1710 an 1730 by the Sacred Roman Rota, a Papal tribunal that deals with all contentious cases, including criminal cases, that come before the Holy See.
