Contemporary calf, blind fillets to boards, lettering piece and blind fillets to spine. Some rubbing to extremities and spine, a few minor scuffs to boards, which are slightly bowed, some discoloration to front near head, minor wear and small tears to edges of folding leaves. Toning, light foxing, internally clean. $250. * This volume contains reports from the cabinet departments and government agencies. The maps, which relate to projects by the US Army Corps of Engineers, depict the Harbor of St. Louis, the Des Moines Rapids and the Rock Island Rapids. The diagrams depict a cross-section of the USS Union, an experimental warship, and equipment used to produce thread and cloth from hemp.
