Later annotations in pencil to endleaves, interior otherwise clean. $250. * Trial of William Laidly (alias Scot of Mossphennan) for assault and robbery before the High Court of Justiciary. Laidly, assisted by his brother and three servants, attacked McPherson and stole 5 of 6 of his cattle. During the attack several cattle were driven over a cliff and died.
