These included participation in the planning and carrying out of the exterminations as well as complicity of Foreign Ministry officials in the deportation of Jews from Nazi-controlled areas, and the cooperation of Finance Ministry and bank officials in the conversion to foreign exchange of concentration camp loot, such as dental gold.
