Caritat, No. 153, Broad-way, by G. & R. Waite, 1801. xiv, [2], 235 pp. 12mo. (6-1/4" x 4"). Superb period-style calf by Philip Dusel, lettering piece and gilt fillets to spine, endpapers renewed. Light browning to text, negligible foxing in places. Head of title page has early owner signature partially covered by small owner label (S. Henry Norris), interior otherwise clean. A very attractive copy. $650. * Only edition, published the same year in London and New York. With a view to supply this deficiency, he commenced the following compilation": (vii). Burn was a barrister of the Inner Temple who published several law books.
