A well-annotated digest of the code of civil procedure of Lombardy-Venetia with concordances to previous codes that governed the region. Established by the Congress of Vienna in 1815, this Northern Italian kingdom was part of the Austrian Empire. Lombardy was annexed to the Sardinia in 1859 and the kingdom ceased to exist when the rest of its territory was annexed to the Kingdom of Italy in 1866. A second edition of Castelli's digest was issued in 1832. Castelli, an attorney in Milan, also produced an annotated edition of the Austrian Civil Code. No copies located on OCLC.
