With indexes. Encyclopedic in scope, this is a reference for notaries in the Kingdom of Sardinia (Piedmont-Sardinia). The entries are quite detailed; several entries have sub-divisions and many contain cross-references. A Sardinian notary was an important legal officer with a role analogous to a present-day English solicitor. The Kingdom of Sardinia led the Risorgimento and its legal system was adopted by the states that comprise present-day Italy. OCLC locates 3 copies of this rare title, 1 outside Italy (UC-Berkeley Law School). Not in the British Museum Catalogue.
