Encyclopedic in scope, this is a reference for notaries in the Kingdom of Sardinia (Piedmont-Sardinia). The entries are quite detailed; several entries have sub-divisions and many contain cross-references. A Sardinian notary was an important legal officer with a role analogous to a present-day English solicitor.
