This useful dictionary of terms in Roman law with references to passages in the Corpus Juris Civilis and other sources was first published in 1846 as Handlexicon zum Corpus Juris Civilis: Nach den Quellen Bearbeitet. The fourth and final edition was published in 1884. All are scarce, especially in North America. OCLC locates no copies of any edition in North America. This edition not in the British Museum Catalogue.
