Contemporary vellum with yapp edges, hand-lettered spine (with later retouching), edges rouged, recent thong ties. Some darkening to spine, light spotting to boards, some wear to board edges and corners, rear pastedown just starting to detach along edges. Light toning to text, internally clean. A handsome copy. $1,000. * First edition. Andre del Vaulx, also known as Vallensis, taught canon Law at the University of Louvain. De Beneficiis is a treatise on ecclesiastical benefices.
