Light toning to text, a bit of soiling to title page. Early owner annotations to front pastedown, signatures and stamps to title page, interior otherwise clean. Ex-library. Bookplate to front pastedown. A nice copy of a rare title. $750. * Only edition. Asinio was a notable Florentine jurist who was patronized by Cosimo I de Medici. He is best-known for his treatises on practice and procedure in Roman and Florentine law. De Executionibus is a comprehensive treatise on the section of the Digest, Book XI, Title 7, which addresses funeral rites and burial. It is a scarce title.
