Attributed in some sources to Nicholas Amhurst, this pamphlet defends Sir Robert Walpole, then chancellor of the exchequer, against accusations of neglecting England's West Indian commerce, to the advantage of Spain. It describes English expeditions to counter Spanish influence and, in the interest of fairness, lists English ships taken by Spain since the Treaty of Hanover (1725).
