Contemporary calf, blind frames with corner fleurons to boards, gilt spine with raised bands, blind tooling to board edges. A few minor nicks and inskpots to boards, chip to head of spine, corners bumped and lightly worn joints just starting at head, front hinge cracked, early armorial bookplate to front pastedown, minor worming to rear free endpaper and pastedown. Light toning to text, somewhat heavier in places. Early annotation to head of front pastedown, later owner signature to head of title page, interior otherwise clean. $200. * First edition. This notable source for students of Parliamentary registers and political and administrative divisions was published over a 35-year period. Each volume is complete in itself. Volume I covers Bedford, Berks, Bucks, Cambridge and Cheshire. Volume II, published in 1716, covers Cornwall, Cumberland, Derby, Devon, Dorset and Durham.
