Recent period-style quarter calf over marbled boards, raised bands and lettering pieces to spines. Light toning to text, occasional faint dampstaining and light soiling to head of text blocks, light foxing to a few leaves, early owner signature ("John Allprep") to head of Volume II title page. An attractive set. $750. * First edition. As Wallace notes, these set of reports of cases from 1680 to 1719 was held in high esteem because "Mr. Vernon was one of the most eminent lawyers of his day."
