Moderate rubbing to extremities and spine, a few small chips to lettering pieces, hinges cracked. Moderate toning, somewhat heavier in places, occasional light foxing, early owner signature ("Edw Hart") and brief annotation to title page. $250. * Fourth and final edition. Rich in sociological detail, and with a useful index, this book collects cases from 1727-1742 concerning the poor. Several cases concern orphans and children born out of wedlock.
