Contemporary calf, rebacked in period style, blind rules to boards, raised bands and lettering piece, endpapers renewed. Light rubbing and a few minor scuffs to boards, moderate rubbing to board edges, corners bumped and worn. Light toning, somewhat heavier in sections of Second Part, finger smudges to a few leaves. $500. * First editions, Reports one of three issues from 1686, Second Part one of two. Saunder's Reports was held in high esteem by Elden and many other prominent jurists, such as James Kent, who said it contained "the most valuable and accurate reports of their age." First published in Law-French and Latin in 1686, this reporter, which covers the years 1666-1673 (18 Car. II-25 Car. II), went through several editions into the late-nineteenth century.
