Light rubbing and some minor nicks and scuffs to boards, moderate rubbing to extremities, corners bumped and moderately worn, hinges cracked, library bookplate to front pastedown of each volume, early owner signatures to front endleaves and title pages. Light toning to text, somewhat heavier in places. $350. * Sixth edition. Covers the period from 1689-1712. "The first two volumes of Salkfeld were published under the supervision of Lord Hardwicke, and their general accuracy, I believe, has not been questioned" (Wallace).
