Recent period-style calf, blind fillets and corner fleurons to boards, gilt-edged raised bands, gilt-stamped decoration to compartments and lettering piece to spine, edges rouged. A few small scuffs and scratches to boards, larger scratch to rear board, light rubbing to extremities, corners lightly bumped. Moderate toning to interior, trimming to head and foot with slight loss to running title and catchwords in a few places but no loss to legibility, occasional faint dampstaining with no loss to legibility, light soiling in a few places, gutter of leaf N1 (pp. 145-146) of first title and fore-edge of leaf A2 (pp. 1-2) of fifth title mended, small tears to edges of folding table, which is mended on verso, small hole to text block of final three leaves without loss to legibility.
