Moderate toning to interior, occasional light foxing. $250. * Final edition. Angell was a Rhode Island legal scholar and prolific writer of treatises on a variety of topics. The first edition of this well-regarded work on actions was published in 1829. May, a Massachusetts lawyer and later Boston Municipal Court judge, began to revise the work with the third edition in 1854, after which at least two editions (including ours) appeared.
