Later period-style mottled calf by George Bayntun of Bath, gilt frames and fillets to boards, gilt spines with raised bands and lettering pieces, gilt tooling to spine ends and board edges at corners, gilt inside dentelles, gilt edges, marbled endpapers, red morocco book label of William Armistead Moale Burden II to front pastedown of each volume, silk ribbon bookmarks. Light rubbing to joints and spine ends, boards of a few volumes bowing slightly, front hinge of Vol. VIII cracked between frontis and title page, recent penciled notes to endleaves and page numbers in a few places. Light toning to text, more moderate to Volume VIII, occasional light fox.
