Light toning, occasional light foxing and faint dampstaining to upper corner and top-edge not affecting legibility, light edgewear to several leaves, upper portions of half-title lacking, text unaffected, early annotations to head of half-title and ownership signature of Andrew Kean to title page. $750. * Only edition. "This compilation was prepared by Nathaniel Chapman, a Philadelphia doctor, in order to block Granville Sharpe Pattison's academic appointment in this country. Pattison, a Scottish Anatomist, had been named co-respondent in the Ure divorce.": Cohen.
