The Bill of Rights stamp was issued with several different styles of first day cover, with the present example designed to coincide with the National Education Association's 1966 convention. Ours is signed by U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, an advocate of desegregation, civil liberties, student rights and other causes pertinent to education.
