According to Warren's Popular and Practical Introduction to Law Studies, this is the "best English treatise" on the subject. It provides "a full statement of the principal decisions of Lord Eldon, whose subtle and powerful legal intellect pre-eminently distinguished itself in cases of Partnership and Bankruptcy."
