Contemporary sheep, blind rules to boards, rebacked in period style calf with blind fillets, lettering piece and gilt date, blind tooling to board edges, endleaves renewed. Light rubbing to boards, moderate rubbing to board edges, corners bumped and lightly worn. Light toning to interior, light soiling in a few places, faint dampstain to lower gutter of pp. 10-16, light foxing and pencil marks to a few leaves, margins trimmed close affecting text (headline) on last page only without loss to legibility, illegible early owner initials to p. 1. An interesting complement is the list of the names and places of abode (in Britain) of the trustees and commissioners for the colony of Georgia, established by royal charter in 1732. These include James Oglethorpe, the colony's founder, and the Earl of Egmont, president of the trustees.
