[viii], 98 pp. Octavo (7-3/4" x 4-1/2"). Contemporary calf, blind rules to boards, rebacked with raised bands, blind fillets and lettering piece to spine, blind tooling to board edges. Light rubbing and a few minor scratches to boards, which are darkened near rebacking, and front joint, moderate rubbing to board edges, corners bumped and worn, hinges cracked, faint offsetting to preliminaries, light soiling to rear pastedown and free endpaper. Light toning to interior, light foxing and soiling in several places. $450. * Reports and Cases: second edition; Rules and Orders: only edition. The second edition of Reports and Cases adds additional cases through 1747, whereas the first edition (1742) ends at 1741. "These decisions, which are upon points of practice, and are cited not infrequently in the Reports of Sir William Blackstone and in Wilson, enjoy a good reputation" (Wallace).
