Disbound, light toning, portion of left margin excised without loss to text, a few small spots, imprint faint due to printing error, small ink "114." at head. $1,250. * One of four 1654 variants. This broadside announces the adjournment of courts during Easter Term, giving Cromwell and his advisors time to address "the abuses and corruptions...crept into the ordinary course and adminstration of Justice, both in Law and Equity, the Reformation whereof hath not yet been attained." Court reform, particularly of the Court of Chancery, was a major priority during the Commonwealth period, though many reforms made at the time would be overturned at the Restoration.
