Moderate rubbing, somewhat heavier rubbing to extremities with some wear to fore-edge of rear board, minor tear to head of spine, pastedowns loose, a few minor worm holes to rear board, rear pastedown and margins of final quarter of text block, part-excised inscription, some edgewear and a few chips to front pastedown. Moderate toning to interior, browning to a few sections, negligible faint dampstaining to foot of text block, light soiling and early owner inscription to title page. $2,500. * Only edition. This remarkable work is a dictionary of legal terms relevant to Austria. The terms are quite detailed, cite authorities and, whenever possible, clarify concepts with principles from Roman law.
