Rubbing with some wear to extremities, some staining and soiling, some tears to paper exposing wooden boards, chipping to head of spine, front joint starting at foot, hinges cracked, faint dampstaining to front endleaves, later bookplate (Hall Park McCullough) to front pastedown, early inscription "Concord School/ 1806" to front free endpaper. Moderate toning to interior, occasional light foxing, faint offsetting to title page. $75. * The text of the U.S. Constitution includes the first twelve amendments. The recommendation that this compilation "be read as a School-Book in all the common Schools" seems to have been taken to heart based on the "Concord School" inscription to the front free endpaper.
