Very good. $25. * A short descriptive pamphlet about a unique pair of 16th-century globes owned by the Middle Temple Inn of Court in London. The globes, a terrestrial and a celestial one, were created by the English mathematician and instrument maker Emery Molyneux in 1592 and were the first globes made in England. The terrestrial globe was later updated in 1603 to include the latest geographical discoveries. The Middle Temple pair is the only surviving complete set of Molyneux globes in existence.
