Contemporary paneled pigskin over wooden boards with beveled edges (featuring images of saints and church fathers), raised bands and fragment of later hand-lettered spine label, early repair to rear joint, clasps lacking, hinges recently mended. Moderate rubbing and some light scratches to boards, spine ends lightly bumped, some wear to corners, minor crack to front board along grain, section of front pastedown lacking, rear hinge starting, crack in text block between title page of Bairische Lanndt ordnung and following leaf. Pictorial title pages printed in red and black, texts also in red and black.
